Every Fall Quarter, Prytanean holds its Membership Drive in order to recruit a new class of wonderful, inspiring, and impressive women! We also hold a Mini Membership Drive during the Spring Quarter so those who will be studying abroad in the Fall have an opportunity to become Prytaneans as well!

Eligibility
Membership is open to women-identifying and non-binary individuals.
Seniors may become members on the condition that they are members for one full Pryt year (Fall 2025- Spring 2026)
GPA Requirement
Sophomores: 3.4 or higher
Juniors and Seniors: 3.2 or higher
Seniors cannot graduate any sooner than Spring 2026
Freshmen and transfers can apply for Provisional Membership using the GPA of their former school
Freshmen must have a 3.4 GPA by spring to qualify for Full Status Membership
Transfers must have a 3.4 GPA from their former school and must maintain a 3.2 GPA their first fall quarter to continue membership into the winter
Transfers must have a 3.2 GPA by spring to qualify for Full Status Membership
If accepted, must have Tuesday nights from 6-8 pm available during Winter, Spring, and Fall Quarters to attend meetings.
In addition to completing an application, prospective members must undergo a personal interview with two current members of Prytanean. Applicants are considered on criteria based on academic achievement, leadership skills, community service, and commitment to the society.
